Guardian Angel Academy - Special Edition Omnibus

This may not be the first email you've seen about a smoke test. I saw a few, and it confused me until I figured out what it was.

Here it is in a nutshell: I had to create all kinds of surveys through Backerkit for different pledge levels. It was a little bit complicated. In an effort to see what I got wrong before it goes out to everyone, Backerkit sends my surveys to a small percentage first.

You might be one of those people.

If anything appears odd with the survery, we go back to the drawing board and try again. If all goes well, the survey goes out to everyone!

So get ready and cross your fingers. I'm pushing the Smoke Test button and let's see what happens!

I know you're being bombarded with Backerkit emails right now. So am I. So I'll keep this short!

We hit the $1500 stretch goal, and I want to sincerely express my gratitude to you for believing in me, for supporting this book, for helping me make it the very best it can be. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. Being an artist can feel very lonely, very solitary, and knowing I have people behind me helps me feel like I have a community. And it's you.

Besides that--we get all four full-color images in the book!

This is also a chance for you to give your voice on which three you'd like to see in the omnibus! While I'm still hoping we hit the stretch goal of $1500 and I get to include all four images in the omnibus, I'm preparing for the fact that we might not. So go share your opinion on the images!

I got proofs back for the opening pages of book 1 (Year 1: Renegade) in the omnibus! Each book will have it's own book opener, and since these are black and white, it doesn't cost more to print them. The biggest expense comes from procuring the artwork, but it's a one-time fee. They are so beautiful! There are still a few changes to be made to the proofs, but it's going to be lovely!




There's still time to upgrade, if you pledged for an ebook and what the hardcover in all its glory! We're about $250 away from the $1500 stretch goal, where we get FOUR full-color pages inside the book. Let's see if we can make it there!

And if you want to see your name eternally immortalized in print in the book, I still have seven spots left under the Archangel Patron level, where you get your name listed inside the book, to be indebly remembered throughout the eternities. :D

Above all, this has been so much fun! I'll keep you posted as we get closer to the finish line!
